Santa Monica, Calif. – Geodelic, a developer of
location-based mobile applications, has raised $7 million in its second round
of financing, led by MK Capital, TechCrunch reported.

Previous backers
Clearstone Venture Partners and Shasta Ventures also participated.

Founded in
2008, Santa Monica, Calif.-based Geodelic offers an application for iPhone and
Android mobile platforms that provides "search-less search,"
automatically serving results based on a user’s location.

The company is
partnering with brands and marketers to allow them to create mobile guides.

Geodelic says its Android app has to date been downloaded over half a million
times.
