Los Angeles – Chinese video portal Youku has licensed
television programming from Disney (NYSE: DIS) for distribution on the service, IDG News
Service reported. The deal includes five seasons of ABC’s "Desperate
Housewives." Youku rival Ku6 recently signed its own deals to license
programming from Sony Pictures Television and Warner Bros.
