New York – Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC), the nation’s second-largest
cable TV provider, has partnered with Disney’s (NYSE: DIS) ESPN to make programming
available online behind a paywall, The Wall Street Journal reported. The deal
included this week’s airing of "Monday Night Football," and will
eventually see ESPN made available in real-time online at no extra charge to
Time Warner Cable subscribers.
