OneFeat, which turns photo sharing into a game, is partnering with The Woman in Black on a competition that rewards fans for engaging with themes from the movie, which opens today.

OneFeat users choose or create a mission, which is usually a specific concept, action, event or subject. They then take a photo that illustrates the mission, which is shared and voted on by other users in way that encourages spreading the word. Since The Woman in Black is a classic horror thriller starring Daniel Radcliffe, participants in the contest choose from missions that include: find a creepy old toy; summon spirits; make a scared face; and find a haunted house.

The list of missions and other instructions can be found on the OneFeat mobile app, the movie’s Facebook page, or at OneFeat. The people who enter what the judges rule are the best submissions will win prizes that include a trip to the famously haunted city of New Orleans.

The Woman In Black is an adaptation of Susan Hill’s best-selling novel directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake) and written by Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, The Debt). The movie is produced by Simon Oakes for Exclusive’s Hammer Films label and Richard Jackson at Talisman Films. Exclusive’s Nigel Sinclair and Guy East are executive producers, along with Roy Lee for Vertigo Entertainment (The Ring).
