Mobile game company MoMinis announced a Series B round of funding that so far has received $6 million from Gemini Israel Ventures and is still open. This follows a $4.9 million round from BRM Capital and Mitsui Ventures earlier this year and brings its total funding to $15.4 million.

The company said it will use the investment to expand its team, develop retention strategies, and expand to platforms beyond Android.

MoMinis operates PlayScape, a free Android app that gives players a single identity for accumulating points and virtual currency across a portfolio of casual games.

For developers, this offers a creation, porting and publishing platform that makes their games distributed and instantly available to the millions who have downloaded the app, as well as ensures they’re supported by most mobile handsets.

PlayScape has 5.5 million monthly active gamers and 1 million daily active participants for its collection of about 100 games.
