Nara Logics raises $7m to individually curate searching

Nara Logics, a provider of personalized Internet search software, has raised $7 million in its first round of venture capital, led by angel investor Peter de Roetth.

Cambridge, Mass. – Nara Logics, a Cambridge-based provider of Internet search software, announced on Tuesday it has raised $7 million in its first round of venture capital, led by angel investor Peter de Roetth.

Founded in 2010, Nara Logics offers a personal Internet platform that automates, personalizes, and curates the Web for people.

The company also announced a new partnership with GrubHub, an online and mobile food ordering service, which will allow users to place orders directly through the Nara platform.

“We feel fortunate to participate in the coming together of artificial intelligence and neural networks as the next generation of Internet search engines,” said Peter de Roetth, co-founder of AMC. “Nara Logics has opened new vistas that will put Big Data at the beck and call of consumers and businesses, as we now begin to transform searching into finding.”
