Wargaming, an developer and publisher of free-to-play massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, said on Thursday it will acquire Seattle-based Gas Powered Games, a developer of game franchises such as Dungeon Siege, Supreme Commander and Demigod. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Wargaming said the acquisition will fuel its push into multiplatform expansion, as well as add several veteran developers, including Gas Powered founder and CEO Chris Taylor.
