The Verge reports that Apple has included Samsung’s new Galaxy S4 in a list of 22 products that it thinks infringes iOS user interface patents, in preparation for its second patent trial against Samsung set for spring of next year. Within its statement filed with the US District Court in California, Apple said it looked at the Galaxy S4 after its release, and has come to the conclusion that it is an infringing device and appropriately plans to move for leave to add the Galaxy S4 as an infringing product. Apple has been told to abide by Judge Lucy Koh’s request to restrict the number of patent claims and infringing devices before next year’s trial. Read more
