Introhive Lands New Investment from Salesforce.com

introhiveIntrohive, a DC-based developer of cloud-based software that analyzes massive amounts of data to uncover new sales prospects, said on Wednesday it has landed a new investment from salesforce.com. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The latest investment comes nearly four months after the company landed $1.5 million from Canada’s Build Ventures. It earlier had received funding from the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), Fortify VC, Growthworks Atlantic and the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF). Introhive was co-founded last year by Jody Glidden and Stewart Walchli, who formerly led Chalk Media. The company said it will use the latest funding to accelerate business growth and expand sales and marketing activities. Its platform discreetly analyzes employee communications and social connections to find existing relationships with customers and prospects. Read more
