Lumiata Raises $4 Million from Khosla Ventures

Lumiata, a San Mateo-based developer of predictive analytics focused on medical science and patient data, said on Wednesday it has raised $4 million in its first round of funding from Menlo Park-based Khosla Ventures. The company, formerly known as MEDgle, said it will use the proceeds to refine and commercialize its medical graph-based predictive analytics engine, currently being piloted by several hospital networks and health insurance carriers.
