UCloud Raises $50 Million As It Eyes Up An IPO In The U.S.


ucloud logo150TechCrunch reports that UCloud has raised $50 Million in its Series B Round of Funding. The funding round was led by Bertelsmann Asia Investments and Legend Capital. UCloud is a China-based provider of cloud computing infrastructure and services for games companies, mobile startups and other enterprises. This cloud computing platform has offered IT infrastructure support for numerous field games, big data, mobile Internet, SaaS, e-commerce, etc. The company will use the funding amount to develop its R&D and data center infrastructure. “UCloud is such a technology, helping Chinese enterprises to quickly solve the problem of Internet infrastructure, operation and maintenance management issues, saving the cost of capital.” said Ji Xinhua, CEO of UCloud.
