Los Angeles
– News Corp.’s (NYSE: NWS) MySpace has made good on its promise to maintain the playlists
created by users of its recently-acquired imeem music streaming service,
TechCrunch reports. The company has begun informing users that they will be
able to port their imeem playlists to MySpace Music via a new import tool.
Users enter the email address they used on imeem, and an "Import
Playlists" button will recreate their imeem playlists on MySpace Music — except
for any songs for which there were differing license agreements secured by
imeem as opposed to MySpace.
