Toronto
– Adenyo, a provider of mobile marketing software, announced on Tuesday that it
has acquired mobile advertising firm MoVoxx.

Financial terms of the deal were
not disclosed.

Founded in 2006, Santa Monica,
Calif.-based MoVoxx serves ads into mobile content reaching over 40 million U.S. users, and counts Sears, Ford and Paramount among its
clients.

Backers included Greycroft Partners, Khosla Ventures, First Round
Capital and BV Capital.

Toronto-based Adenyo, which recently raised $26.9
million in new financing, said the deal will enable it to expand its services
offering.
