San Bruno, Calif. – Apptera, a provider of mobile
advertising technology, has raised $10 million in new funding, TechCrunch
reported, citing a regulatory filing.

Founded in 2001, San Bruno, Calif.-based
Apptera operates a voice and visual mobile advertising network, which can serve
audio ads within calls to users who have opted in.

Customers include advance movie
ticketing services Fandango and Moviefone.
