Mountain View, Calif. – Google (NASD: GOOG) on Tuesday made its Google Voice
platform, previously available only via invite, available to all interested
parties in the U.S.
The service offers a single number to ring all of a user’s phones,
speech-to-text voicemail, free calls and texts in the U.S. and Canada, low-priced international
calls, and other features. Google said over a million users are now actively using
Google Voice.
