Boulder,
Colo. – Lijit Networks, a
provider of search and discovery tools for online publishers, announced on
Tuesday that it has raised $6 million in new venture capital financing, led by
Foundry Group.
Existing investors including Boulder Ventures and Colorado Fund
I also participated.
Founded in 2006, Boulder,
Colo.-based Lijit counts 12,000 publisher, commercial website and content
network clients, which draw a combined 53 million unique monthly visitors.
The
company will use the funds the support growth of its publisher network and to
market its advertising services platform.
