Shanghai – UltiZen Games, a China-based provider of video game development outsourcing services, has raised $8 million in its third round
of funding.

JAFCO Asia led the investment round; Hotung Investment Holdings and
Tokio Marine Investment Services also participated in the funding, which the
company will use to expand publishing of online and mobile games.

Founded in
2005, UltiZen is China’s largest PC game development and outsourcing company,
and also created the U-Pal casual game platform for the Chinese market.

The
company said it plans to launch at least one new game each month during the
second half of 2010.
