Los Angeles – News Corp.’s MySpace online social network
will go live with a new user homepage design on Monday, Hypebot reported. The
update will feature a wider activity stream spanning the first two columns;
easier access to a user’s own photos, videos and music; more prominently
featured Recommendations; a new alerts system; and an address book importer. "This
is a first in a series of changes that you’ll see designed to simplify the
organization and display of content to benefit our users," a MySpace
spokeperson told Hypebot.
