Dallas – RadioTime, a provider of Web radio applications,
announced on Wednesday that it has acquired the TuneIn Internat radio iPhone
application, and hired its developer to create iPhone and iPad applications.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Dallas-based RadioTime
said that, in less than a year, the $1.99 TuneIn application has sold more than
700,000 downloads.

The app is a directory of AM/FM and online-only radio
stations from 140 countries broadcasting in 55 different languages, that
provides DVR-like recording of live radio programming.
