Los Angeles – Apple’s (NASD:  AAPL) manufacturing partners are expected to
begin making CDMA-based iPhones compatible with Verizon’s mobile network in
December, Apple Insider reported, citing a note from Susquehanna Financial
Group analyst Jeffrey Fidacaro. Apple will build 3 million CDMA iPhones for an
expected launch in early 2011, the report said.

Fidacaro added that he expects
Apple will sell a record 11.6 million iPhones in its fiscal fourth quarter, up
from the 8.4 million it sold in its third quarter.

Bloomberg also recently
reported that Apple intends to introduce a Verizon iPhone model in January.
