Mountain View, Calif. – LinkedIn, an online professional
network with more than 75 million members, said on Thursday it will acquire San
Francisco-based startup ChoiceVendor, which provides ratings and reviews of
business-to-business service providers in more than 70 categories.

Financial
terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ChoiceVendor is led by CEO Yan-David
Erlich, who previously was an entrepreneur- in-residence at Battery Ventures.

Another founder, Rama Ranganath, was previously an early engineer on Google’s
AdSense team.
