London – FremantleMedia, the U.K.-based television producer
behind "The X Factor," "Got Talent," "The Price is
Right" and "Family Feud," announced on Monday that it will
acquire a further 51% stake in Montreal-based game developer Ludia, bringing
its total share to 80%.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The two companies have collaborated since 2008, with Ludia developing console,
PC and mobile games based on Fremantle properties like "The Price is
Right."

Ludia has also created games based on TV properties including
"The Amazing Race," "American Idol" and "Who Wants To
Be A Millionaire."
