Seattle – Amazon.com (NASD: AMZN) plans to launch a new lending feature
for its Kindle e-book reader devices later this year. Similar to features
available on rival devices like Barnes & Noble’s Nook, Kindle device and
Kindle app users will be able to loan select e-books to friends for a period of
14 days.
