Seattle – Amazon.com (NASD: AMZN) on Tuesday announced it will increase
the revenue share for magazine and newspaper publishers selling titles on its
Kindle Store to 70% of the retail price, net of delivery costs. Previously,
Amazon took 70% of retail revenues. The new royalty terms, which take effect
Dec. 1, are in line with Apple’s (NASD: AAPL) royalty terms for its own iBookstore.
