Los Angeles – Adult website YouPorn has been sued in federal
court for allegedly illegally tracking what other websites its visitors were
surfing, CNET News.com reported.

The lawsuit alleges YouPorn engaged in
"history sniffing," which the different colored links that browsers
display to denote whether a website has been visited are utilized to track what
sites a user has visited.

The lawsuit, which is seeking class action status,
charges Netherlands-based YouPorn with violating the federal and California
state computer fraud laws; unlawful competition and deceptive and unfair
business practices.

Plaintiffs are seeking an injunction and monetary damages.
