New York – Mochila, a premium content syndication technology
platform and network, announced on Wednesday that it has secured an undisclosed
amount in its fifth round of venture capital financing.

The investment round
was led by Mission Ventures, The Greenspun Corporation and Jerry Colonna.

Founded
in 2001, New York-based Mochila operates a network of some 1,500 sites that
reaches an audience of over 150 million unique monthly visitors.

Partners
include the Associated Press, Reuters, AFP, Gannett, Tribune, Scripps and
MSNBC.

The company, which said it has experienced eight straight quarters of
growth, will use the funds to expand its sales force.
