San Francisco – Social games publisher Zynga announced on
Friday that it has acquired social and mobile game developer Area/Code.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 2005, New
York-based Area/Code has published titles such as "CSI: Crime City"
and "Parking Wars."
The studio will maintain its operations and
become Zynga’s New York office.
