West Palm Beach, Fla. – Quepasa, the operator of an online
social network targeting Latinos, announced on Tuesday that it will acquire
XtFt Games, parent company of Brazilian social game developer TechFront, in a
deal valued at $4 million.

Founded in 2006, TechFront last year began
developing social games for Google’s Orkut social network.

Quepasa said the
acquisition follows its deal to publish and promote social game titles for
eGames — for whom TechFront has developed a number of titles.

TechFront’s team
of 41 developers will now focus on creating titles for Quepasa — which counts
27 million registered users — and other social networks with audiences in
Latin America.
