New York – Major League Gaming (MLG), a professional video game
league and online game competition, said on Wednesday it has partnered with
media firm IMG Worldwide to expand its platform internationally. IMG, which is
the world’s largest independent producer of sports programming, said it will
build brand awareness for MLG though distribution, programming and marketing
agreements with broadcast and broadband partners. These partners will then
collaborate to host regional championship gaming events around the globe.
