Brisbane, Calif. – Glam Media, a women-focused network of websites
and corresponding ad network, announced on Friday that it has acquired BBS
Media, a Canada-based brand advertising firm.

Financial terms of the
transaction were not disclosed.

The deal marks Brisbane, Calif.-based Glam’s expansion
into Canada, where BBS counts partnerships with Harper’s Bazaar, Washington
Post Digital, Forbes, Men’s Health and others.

Glam will introduce its
GlamAdapt premium ad-serving platform in Canada, which counts more than 2,000
publisher partners and claims to reach 200 million monthly unique visitors.
