San Francisco – ShopSquad, a social commerce service, has
landed $1.25 million in seed funding, TechCrunch reported.

Investors included
Josh Silverman, David Sacks, Jeff Fluhr, Selina Tobaccowala and Charles Carmel.

San Francisco-based ShopSquad offers live video chat with advisors who offer
product advice and recommendations.

Advisors then earn 75% of affiliate fees
from retail partners like Amazon, Best Buy and Hotels.com when users go on to
make purchases.
