Washington – National Geographic said on Wednesday it has
assumed management of day-to-day operations for Scienceblogs.com, an online
community dedicated to all types of science news and analysis. The move expands
the organization’s relationship with New York-based Seed Media Group, which
started when National Geographic took on ad sales responsibility for
Scienceblogs.com in 2009. Launched in 2006, New York-based ScienceBlogs is a
portal featuring 60 blogs representing a wide array of scientific disciplines.
