Cambridge, Mass. – Mobile ad network Jumptap said on
Thursday that it has closed a $25 million round of financing.

Several unnamed
new investors, as well as previous backers AllianceBernstein, General Catalyst,
Redpoint Ventures, Summerhill Ventures, Valhalla Partners and WPP participated
in the round.

Cambridge, Mass.-based Jumptap says its mobile ad network reaches
83 million consumers monthly, up 30% from last year.

The company has partnered
with more than 10,000 sites and apps, and received over 10 billion ad requests
in April 2011.

Jumptap will use the funds for additional product and technology
development, and to increase its staff.
