San Francisco – Google is expected to launch a new Chrome
operating system-powered laptop and complementary software bundle that it will
offer to students for $20 per month, Forbes reported, citing a senior Google
executive.

The company already offers enterprise applications under its Google
Apps service to businesses for $50 per month.

“Small and medium-sized
businesses are banging on our doors to get something like this,” the
Google executive added.

Update: Google has announced its Chromebooks for Business and Education project.
