Alviso, Calif. – TiVo (NASD: TIVO) said on Monday that the Hulu Plus subscription service is now available directly to subscribers with TiVo Premiere digital video recorder set-tops.
The deal gives TiVo subscribers who also pay $7.99 a month for Hulu Plus easy access to streaming TV episodes and movies from the service on their televisions.
The companies are offering six months of free Hulu Plus to owners of newly purchased TiVo Premiere digital video recorders.
