Los Angeles – Streaming music service Simfy has filed a complaint against Apple (NASD: AAPL) with German antitrust agency Bundeskartellamt, alleging the company has delayed approval of its iPad app “in favor of its own strategy,” PaidContent reported.

Simfy’s service for the iPhone offers either free, ad-supported streaming, or a paid monthly service free from ads.

The company’s iPad app would sync this experience across both devices.

If the company can convince the antitrust agency of its allegations, the move by Simfy could potentially prevent the launch of Apple’s iCloud in Germany, or result in some form of compensation, PaidContent noted.
