Fairfax, Va. – Three Pillar Global, a provider of mobile software development services, said on Thursday it has landed a new $10 million investment from Texas-based private equity firm Nestors Financial.

The news comes nearly a month after the company acquired the professional services division of PointAbout, the creator of a platform allowing clients to develop their own low-cost mobile apps.

“This added capital ensures a depth of operations that can further accelerate our growth and respond to new global opportunities,” said CEO David DeWolf.

Fairfax, Va.-based Three Pillar, which also in late 2009 merged with LeverPoint, said it will use the proceeds to scale operations, expand its global footprint and possibly pursue more acquisitions.
