Intertainment Media Inc. has announced the appointment of Patrick Bultema as interim president of its Ortsbo Inc. division and Jonah Schnel as a senior advisor to the firm. David Lucatch, who until now served as president of Ortsbo, will assume the role of chief executive officer.

Bultema most recently was CEO chief executive officer of animated customer engagement character creator CodeBaby. He previously held executive chairman positions at Sybrant and Aeroprise, senior executive positions companies like XAware and FrontRange Solutions, and served as chairman and general manager of Ziff Davis Help Desk Institute.

Schnel was co-founder and managing partner of Los Angeles-based venture capital firm ITU Ventures, where he oversaw the management of four institutionally-sponsored investment partnerships. ITU Ventures provided seed and early-stage capital to over 30 technology companies that were affiliated with innovation centers like U.S.-based research universities and laboratories. Prior to ITU Ventures, Schnel was a manager at SunAmerica Investments.

Bultema and Schnel will work with the current management and board to further develop Ortsbo’s strategic operations plans, corporate development, technical delivery and market deployment as well leading the recruitment of a world-class management team.
