seatgeekTechCrunch reports that SeatGeek has raised $2.2 million in its recent round of funding from its existing investors. SeatGeek announced that it has acquired FanSnap from Wize Commerce, which bought the ticketing site two years ago, and will shut down the FanSnap website today. Fansnap users will be redirected to the SeatGeek page. Both sites are competitors and allow users to search tickets across resale sites like eBay and StubHub.  “FanSnap has a great technology, I’m not putting down what they’ve built at all, but I do think those users, once they become accustomed to SeatGeek, they’ll be using it regularly,” said Russell D’Souza, Co-founder of SeatGeek.
