Billboard reports: “Downtown Music Publishing has signed an administration deal with Big Yellow Dog Music, a Nashville-based music publishing and artist development company whose roster includes Grammy winners Meghan Trainor and Josh Kear and CMA-winner Maren Morris who is also up for a 2016 Best New Artist Grammy. Big Yellow Dog’s writers have accrued four Grammys, 28 chart toppers and four ASCAP/BMI Country Songs of the Year awards. Its hits songs include “All About That Bass”, “Lips Are Movin” and “No” co-written by Trainor; “My Church” and “80s Mercedes” co-written by Morris; and “Need You Now” (performed by Lady Antebellum) and “Before He Cheats” and “Blown Away” (performed by Carrie Underwood) co-written by Kear.”
