Forbes reports: “In late 2015, YouTube was eleven times bigger than Facebook video. Every day, Americans collectively watched over 8,000 years of YouTube content, compared to only 713 years on Facebook. In 2020, Facebook wants to see those numbers reversed.Facebook just announced it will be launching a video app for Apple TV, Samsung smart TVs, and Amazon Fire devices. In other words, it’s not just going to be about seeing a video as you flick through your feed anymore; Facebook is going for the lean-back video experience that YouTube has already perfected.”
