The Verge reports: “Apple Music has picked up exclusive rights to the documentary Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives yesterday. The acquisition was announced just before the film’s premiere kicked off the first night of the Tribeca Film Festival. Apple’s interest in music documentaries is a logical marriage of two of its most public concerns — high-profile music streaming exclusives and, eventually, original TV and film content to compete with the likes of Amazon and Netflix.”
