Vringo Procures $3.35 Million in Funding

Mobile social and video applications platform Vringo Inc. announced is has secured a $3.35 million round of financing, representing $850,000 of new funds and conversion of $2.5 million of notes previously issued in bridge financing led by Benchmark Capital and DAG Ventures.

Clear Channel Radio Collars Daily Deals in Cumulus Partnership

Clear Channel Radio and Cumulus Media Inc. today announced an agreement that will make all 570 Cumulus radio stations in 120 markets available on the New iHeartRadio platform. Of equal if not more importance, it also calls for Clear Channel Radio to advertise SweetJack, Cumulus’s daily deals platform.

The company raised $750,000, which is pocket change to the likes of angels Mike Jones, Kamran Pourzanjani, Yves Sisteron, Aber Whitcomb, Brian Fitzgerald, Ryan Steelberg, Colin Digario, Brian Lee, Chris DeWolfe and Jarl Mohn, but it still has to be helpful to have them involved.
