PC Mag reports: “As some streaming services hike up prices, Roku is trying to attract consumers by offering its own budget alternative in the US. Howdy is a new streaming service that costs only $2.99 per month and does not serve ads. That might help it stand out from other streamers, such as Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max, which start at $7.99 or $9.99 per month, but force you to watch ads in exchange for a lower price.”
