– Apple (NASD: AAPL) has negotiated a takeover of the "iPad" trademark from Japan’s
Fujitsu, CNET reported, citing the Patent Authority blog. It’s not clear what
compensation Fujitsu received for turning over the trademark to Apple, which
will release the iPad later this week.
