New York
– Political polling blog FiveThirtyEight has signed a three-year deal that will
see its content featured on the website of The New York Times, and the blog
hosted on The Times’ site.
The site was launched by Nate Silver in March 2008,
and came to prominence during the presidential primaries and general election
that year, offering analysis of polling data.
By early August, Silver’s site
will re-launch under a NYTimes.com domain, and be featured in the site’s
Politics section.
Silver will additionally begin contributing content to the
print edition of The Times, and to the Sunday Magazine.
