Culver City, Calif. – Sony (NYSE: SNE) Pictures Home Entertainment on
Monday announced the launch of Screen Classics by Request, a new on-demand
manufacturing service for its Columbia Film Library. The service will offer
more than 100 classic movie titles for $19.94, and deliver them on
made-to-order DVDs "with original theatrical art when available."
Initial titles will include "The Executioner," "The
Juggler," "Genghis Kahn" and "Les Voleurs."
