Sao Paolo, Brazil – Vostu, a social game developer based in
Brazil, has raised $30 million in financing from Accel Partners and Tiger
Global Management, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Founded in 2007, Vostu
counts 20 million active users of its games on Google’s Orkut — the most
popular social network in Brazil.
"Vostu is profitable and
well-capitalized and continues to grow at an extraordinary pace," CEO
Daniel Kafie told WSJ.
The company will use the funds for further expansion in
Brazil.
