Seattle – Amazon.com (NASD: AMZN) on Wednesday introduced Kindle Singles,
an e-book publishing format intended for works between 5,000 and 30,000 words.
Priced between 99 cents and $4.99, the first batch of works includes unreleased
content from writers such as Ian Ayres and Jodi Picoult, as well as the first
written works published by the TED conference.
