San Francisco – Mobile social games developer TinyCo
(formerly Brooklyn Packet) has raised $18 million in its first round of
funding, TechCrunch reports.
Andreessen Horowitz led the investment round;
angel investors including Ron Conway and Keith Rabois also participated.
The
San Francisco-based company was founded in 2009 as Brooklyn Packet, and has
released titles such as "Tiny Chef" and "Tap Resort."
In
connection with the financing, the company has changed its name to TinyCo.
